Whether we are climbing a rock wall, participating in a Ropes course, kayaking down a lazy river with a group of female executives or cycling for a charity we support, we do whatever it takes to maintain our physical and mental energy at optimum levels. We practice what we preach!
Since most of our work is with CEOs, senior executives and their teams, we hone our own teamwork skills by riding a tandem recumbent bicycle (this is where almost all of our planning meetings are held). It’s a great way to work, have fun and stay fit. We reached our goal of riding 3,000 miles in August, 2005, and completed our first century (100 miles in one day – that takes teamwork!) in October 2005. We have set a new goal for 2007 - riding twelve 90 mile rides or longer during the current year and riding over 3,500 miles total.
We consider ourselves in good company, since John Kennedy once said that nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bicycle ride and Albert Einstein is said to have thought of the theory of relativity while riding his bicycle.
We have added a very special leadership opportunity for senior executives and CEOs called Understanding Leadership from the Back Seat. You’ll be the “stoker” (you ride on the back of the tandem) as you rediscover what it feels like to be led instead of doing the leading. To learn more about this opportunity, click here.

| Riding for Charity
In November 2005, we raised over $1,000 for the American Diabetes Association by riding in the 62-mile (yes, in one day) Diabetes Challenge.
On May 20th & 21st we cycled in the American Diabetes Association 2006 Tour de Cure – a 134-mile ride over two days, raising over $1,500. Together with 399 other riders, we raised over $130,000 to support the ADA.
